Dave Wallace joined LaSalle’s staff in 2004 and is currently serving as executive director. While at LaSalle. Dave has served as director of clinical services and associate executive director for Program Development until his most current appointment in February 2018.

With over 20 years of experience in child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice, David is a nationally recognized expert in treating youth and families who have experienced sexual abuse and complex trauma. As an active trainer, Dave has presented to audiences throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on the topics of trauma, clinical best practices, and behavioral health policy. Dave also serves on a number of state and national associations, boards, and committees, all dedicated to the improvement of treatment services to youth and families with complex mental health and behavioral needs.

He earned a master’s degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Binghamton. He is licensed by the State of New York as a clinical social worker with psychotherapy privileges.

The first licensed clinician to serve as LaSalle’s executive director, Dave is the 24th executive to serve in this position following 22 Christian Brothers and immediately succeeding Bill Wolff, AFSC, the agency’s first lay executive director.
