This unrestricted fund provides vital support for a wide array of evolving educational, therapeutic, and specialized programs that benefit hundreds of youth and families in our community. It also strengthens the agency’s efforts to promote youth development, build resilience, and support successful reintegration with their families and home environments.
Robert Conway Fund for Youth Achievement
In honor of Robert Conway—a former student and longtime member of both LaSalle’s Board of Trustees and Foundation Board—the Needy Boy Fund was renamed the Conway Fund for Youth Achievement in 2024. This renaming recognizes Bob’s enduring commitment to LaSalle and its students. Once a LaSalle student, always a LaSalle student.
The Conway Fund for Youth Achievement allows LaSalle to support former students facing emergency needs, such as food insecurity, medical expenses, or other essentials. It also ensures that current students and their families experience the joy of the holiday season by providing stockings for residential youth, food baskets for families, and supporting holiday and birthday celebrations throughout the year.
The Bill Wolff Legacy Fund for Resilient Staff
Established in honor of former Executive Director Bill Wolff, this fund is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of LaSalle staff. Bill firmly believed that when staff are cared for, they are best equipped to care for our students. The fund offers emergency assistance to current and former LaSalle employees, helping with essential needs such as housing, clothing, and other critical expenses.
