Sixth year of LaSalle’s student senate gets underway

This year, seventeen Student Senators are going to focus on continuing projects proven to make a contribution to the LaSalle School community, and add new initiatives important to developing leadership skills, organizational abilities, and service activities to the school community and Albany neighborhood.

On site, acquiring skills useful in the job market will be a priority. These include the maintenance of inventory, sales, and overall operation of the LaSalle School student store, the agency-wide antibullying campaign, and preparation of holiday care packages.

Students representing all LaSalle’s programs are represented in the Student Senate, and are from the high school’s junior and senior classes. In a few weeks, after a special celebratory dinner hosted by LaSalle, the officers of the 2014-2015 Student Senate will be formally inducted.
